Eligibility Criteria - Astana Medical University (MBBS for Indian Students)
To be eligible for admission to the MBBS program at Astana Medical University, applicants must fulfill a set of academic and regulatory requirements. Indian students must have completed their 10+2 education with a science background, specifically in Physics, Chemistry, and Biology. A minimum aggregate score of 50% in PCB is required for general category students, while reserved categories (SC/ST/OBC) may qualify with 40%–45%. Additionally, a valid NEET score is mandatory as per the guidelines of the National Medical Commission (NMC), and students must have cleared NEET within the last three years. Candidates must be at least 17 years of age by December 31 of the admission year. While no English proficiency test like IELTS or TOEFL is required, the medium of instruction is English, and students should be comfortable with the language. A valid passport, medical fitness certificate (including HIV test), academic documents, and recent passport-size photographs are also required during the admission process.
